Challenges

Hey Folks,
I hope this post finds you all well. I thank everyone that has ever supported our Southern Yankee brand. I will do my best to reach out more. Sometimes the challenges that life presents itself changes even your outlook on life. I was a Medic in the Army for over 25 years. That being said I definitely was no stranger to adversity. Between the Army and growing up in one of the roughest areas in Brooklyn gave me certain perspectives on things. My Wife was diagnosed with a disease that we are still trying to process. I had left my job at the time for a remote job position to be her full time care giver. The impact was a significant decrease in financial income. The other thing I never realized was my medical plan didn't cover a lot of the tests and treatments at her current stage of this disease. It has been stressful for the entire family. I have worked hard my entire life to provide a stable environment conducive to growth, development, and family memories. Sometimes God gives us challenges that we often cannot see a way out of at the time. I am determined to keep the faith, hold steadfast to the belief and hope of a better tomorrow. One day at a time. We all are faced at time with life challenges that may be hard to face at first, but keep the faith. This Southern Yankee will keep moving forward. Pray for one another cause it goes a long way. Take care and God blees!
